TUTORIAL CHANGING THE TEMPERATURE PROBE ET THE MOTOR CANDLE AM6 MINARELLI

Ce tutorial aims at you help change the temperature probe as well as the candle from your 50 to box thanks to pics and explanations associated. In this example we used a mécabox with a motor AM6 Minarelli but the principle is the same for the different engines (Derbi Euro 2, AM6 et Generic). Necessary material:

• 1 flat wrench of 21mm
• 1 flat wrench of 19mm
• 1 5mm key BTR
• 1 temperature probe
• 1 candle

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR TEMPERATURE PROBE DERBI EURO 2

1) Drain the coolant by removing this screw using a 5mm BTR key.

2) Then remove the coolant cap so that the liquid comes out more quickly.

3) Remove the candle with a wrench.

4) Install the new candle, screw it well.

5) Put the suppressor back.

6) Disconnect and remove the temperature probe.

7) Install the new temperature probe.

8) Replace the drain screw.

9) Fill up with coolant.

Installing a new temperature sensor and a new spark plug is pretty simple on your box 50cc. We advise you to change both at the same time. You will find at 50factory.com all spark plugs NGK available on the market as well as a good number of temperature probes adapted to your 50cc.
