Ce tutorial aims at you help change the fork of your gearbox motorbike thanks to pics and explanations associated.

1) Install your two wheels on a motorcycle stand.
2) Remove the brake caliper using the socket wrench (2 screw).
3) Loosen the front wheel axle nut (1 nut and 1 washer).
4) Remove the front wheel axle and the wheel. Pay attention to the hub spacer.
5) Remove the fixing lugs from the headlight plate.
6) Loosen the nuts on the top and bottom tee.
7) Remove the fork tube.
8) Repeat on the other side of your two-wheeler.
9) Remove the mudguard (2 screw).
11) Disconnect all plugs and remove the headlight plate.
11) Remove the jumpers.
11)Protect the saddle and the fuel tank. Put your handlebars on it.
11) Take off your meter.
11) Remove the nut and the steering column tube cover.
11) Remove the upper tee by disconnecting the neiman.
11) Remove the dust cover.
11) Then the lower nut of the steering column. Remove the bottom tee. If necessary, use the mallet.
11) Remove the lower tee, if necessary use the mallet.
It is strongly recommended to change the steering column bearings. Find the link here to follow the tutorial.
11) Install the new lower triple clamp. Using the mallet, insert it.
11) Replace the seal and the steering column nut. Check mobility. Tighten the nut.
11) Replace the steering column dust cover.
11) Install the upper triple clamp.
11) Tighten the upper steering column nut.
11) Position the first fork leg. Screw back on the lower and upper tee.
11) Renouvel the operation on the other side.
11) Replace your counter.
11) Position the handlebars. Replace and tighten the saddles.
11) Tighten the steering column nut vigorously.
11) Replace the steering column tube cover.
11) Replace the mudguard.
11) Replace the wheel axle and the wheel. Remember to reconnect the odometer. Do not forget to replace the hub spacer.
11) Tighten the nut very vigorously. Do not forget to tighten the wheel axle screw.
11) Replace the brake caliper. Check the mobility of the wheel.
You have completed the fork change of your 50cc. We recommend that you check the play of the column every 200 kilometers. Installing a new fork is a fairly complex procedure to perform on your gearbox 50cc. It will therefore be necessary to be experienced enough to realize this! It will take you time and patience.
