Un Speedometer Speedometer is an instrument that provides instant speed readings. Traditional speedometers use gears and wires to determine speed, recent two-wheelers use magnetic speed sensors. The most common failures are: a faulty sensor, bad wiring or dial malfunctions. The problems with the counters often stem from a faulty gauge or a worn cable. If the Speedometer is not damaged, a simple procedure will solve the problem.

Le cable meter is an essential part for your safety. It is responsible for bringing the speed at which you are driving up to the counter, which in turn will display it. You can thus adapt your speed according to the situation.
It is therefore essential to have a cable in good condition on your two wheels in order to guarantee your safety, that of others and respect speed limits.
The fuse:
Le fuse is usually near the battery of your two-wheeler.
The cable:
1- Locate the bottom end of the cable of the speedometer that attaches to the front wheel hub.
2- Pull the end of the cable out of the center, and inspect the square end of the cable. If it breaks or the edges are rounded, you need to replace the cable.
Speed sensor:
1- Locate it sensor.
2- Clean the sensor head with a cloth or a sponge.
The sensor is a magnet, metallic deposits can be deposited on the sensor head. If the sensor is in front of the disc fixing screws, check if there are indeed all the screws.
