TUTORIAL TO CHANGE YOUR WATER PUMP ON THE ENGINE AM6 minarelli
Ce tutorial aims at you help change the water pump from your 50 to box thanks to pics and explanations associated. In this example, it is a type engine AM6 Minarelli. Do not forget to order the right one water pump for your 50cc box.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR WATER PUMP DERBI EURO 2
1) Drain the coolant by removing this screw.
2) Remove the coolant cap to properly drain the tank.
3) Drain the gear oil by removing the screw located under the sump.
4) Remove the kick.
5) Remove the coolant hose.
6) Then remove the oil pump housing (3 screws).
7) Remove the oil pump (2 screws). Be careful to remove the throttle cable.
8) Loosen the screw of the water pump to help you (3 screw).
9) Attention to the oil pump seal, do not forget!
10) Remove the brake pedal.
11) Then remove the clutch cover (7 screws).
12) Use a mallet to remove it.
13) Remove the water pump (3 screw).
14) Remove the circlip using the circlip pliers.
15) Then remove the pinion, then the minor axis.
16) Remove the oil seal.
17) Place the new oil seal, use an axle to push it in well.
18) Insert the first part of the water pump (the turbine).
19) Put the axle behind to make it hold.
You can replace the pinion, the washer and the circlip.
21) Replace the 2 centering pins in these holes.
22) Position the new water pump seal (scrape with a cutter if there are remnants of the old seal).
23) Replace the 2 screws of the water pump cover.
Remove the black part of the water pump (24 screw).
25) Replace the gasket and replace the part.
26) Install the new clutch housing gasket (add some grease).
27) Replace the clutch cover. Be careful to hold the kick pin well.
28) Replace the 7 clutch housing screws (see step 11).
29) Replace the coolant hose.
30) Then put back the oil pump (2 screw).
31) Reattach the throttle cable.
32) Replace the oil pump housing (2 screw).
33) Put the kick back on by tightening the spring. To do this, start par remove this screw.
34) Stretch the kick well by making it do a turn 3 / 4.
35) You can replace the screw, while maintaining the kick.
36) Replace the kicker with the screw.
37) Replace the drain plug located under the casing.
38) Reassemble the brake pedal correctly. Be careful to pass the spring from behind. Use a screwdriver to pry.
39) Fill up with coolant.
Finally, fill up with can oil. Remove the screw on the middle of the clutch housing. When the oil flows, the level is good.
