A bit of history on Kenda

Kenda Indus Rubbertrial Company is a Taiwanese company specializing in the manufacture and sale of tires for different types of vehicles (motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, trailer, tractor, etc.). This company was established in 1962, and three factories were directly opened (Taiwan, China and Vietnam).

Brand Kenda decided in 2011 to sell 50% of its shares to Cooper Tire & Rubber Company. On the circuits, Kenda is not too present but still sponsors the cycling team Giant Asia Racing, the team UCI Continental as well as non-profit organizations. The brand is not too well known at the moment but its ambition to expand internationally will surely be talked about!
