LA APRILIA RS 50, the benchmark for sports motorcycles

Always Aprilia unquestionably dominates the segment of sports 50 and 125 cc 3 with the introduction of innovative solutions and concepts, avant-garde, and which competitors have taken inspiration from. The Aprilia RS 50 et RS 125 evolve at the highest levels thanks to the presence of the latest technologies offering the youngest pilots real sensations of piloting.

L'Aprilia RS 50 is one of the most sought-after sportbikes in the 50cc model category. It's a great option for a generation of young motorcyclists trying to master the art of motorsport.

Introduced to the market in 1992, the small 50cc single-cylinder two-stroke carried over the aesthetic appeal of its larger siblings, both road and competitive.

The first series arrived, indeed, in 1992: 16-inch front wheel and single-arm rear swingarm set it apart from the competition.

In 1997 the second series, which takes up a more rounded and enveloping fairing, still in line with the examples entered in competition. Technically, it was equipped with a new frame, a 17 inch front wheel and a double swingarm.

The third series arrives in 2006 and remains on the market until theAprilia RS 50 kind of house fares: the small RS takes up the design of its big sister, the RS 125, thanks to the more agile, modern and angular fairing.

The latest version of theAprilia RS 50 exists since 2011, is now called RS4 50. With the RS4 50, the name and design were basically based on theAprilia RSV4 (successor to theAprilia RSV 1000 R). The p-cooled 50-stroke 3-stroke enginear liquid from RS4 50 is started with the starter. Depending on the engine speed, the engine is supplied with oil separately via a pump. Like the big model Aprilia RSV4, the RS4 50 is also equipped with a six-speed gearbox.

3th generation 2006-2010

In 2010, the Italian sports car radically changes its look. Its sharper lines and the excellent integration of the exhaust under the saddle distinguish it from competitors!
