How to properly maintain your moped?

To preserve your comfort and your safety, it is essential to know the checks and maintenance operations to be carried out regularly on your vehicle.

A moped corresponds to a machine with 2 wheels or more, equipped with a heat engine whose displacement does not exceed 50 cm 3, and whose speed is limited to 45 km/hpar construction.

Control before each departure

Reading the maintenance booklet will provide you with details of the periodicity of the reviews, and the details of the operations to be carried out according to the mileage. We advise you to check all the elements below:

• The rear red light and the brake light.

• The state of tires.

• The setting of the mirror.

• Fuel level.

• The buzzer.

Check every 15 days

• Check tire pressure and wear. A worn tire reduces grip on wet roads.

• Check the voltage of the chain.

• Check the status of cable.

• Check the condition of the throttle.

• Check the brake system.

• Check coolant level (if radiator). The coolant guarantees a better stability of the engine temperature and has antifreeze power.
