Here you will find all the information concerning the PEUGEOT electric two-wheel prototype SPX presented at the last Lyon 2wheel Show. Certain technical elements are still subject to change.
In order to Peugeot Motorcycles, this model presented is a faithful reinterpretation of the spirit of freedom of Peugeot 103 with an electric motor.
Aesthetically, the SPX combines the codes of the past with a touch of modernity. Planned in 50 cm³ and 125 cm3 equivalence, it will offer performance adapted to all needs, with ranges of up to 100 km for the high-end version with two batteries according to our estimates.
Winks to 103 SP are found in the details, while contemporary elements, such as the headlight or the patterns integrated into the rear lights, add a touch of freshness.
This nostalgic return promises a warm reception among two-wheel enthusiasts and " Made in France”. Indeed, this model will be manufactured within the Beaulieu factory, in Doubs, the historic factory of Peugeot Motorcycles.
Power, autonomy, maximum speed… the manufacturer was stingy with details. The first images, however, suggest a motor installed in a central position and the presence of a large screen installed in the center of the handlebars. Located on the top of the frame, the battery will also be removable.
