Clean your two wheels regularly

Whether or not you use your two wheels regularly, it is essential to maintain and clean it regularly.

Regular maintenance of your two wheels will ensure better operation and better security for you.

However, the cleaning of your two wheels should not be done anyhow, we will give you some tips to achieve quality cleaning without damaging your vehicle.

This cleaning will also allow you to maintain the body of your two wheels and therefore ensure a better life. Here are the key steps to quality cleaning below.

Wash your two wheels properly

In order to properly clean your two wheels without damaging it, we strongly advise you not to use high pressure lances which could cause corrosion or peel off your various stickers. In addition, by using a high pressure lance, water could get into different places where water should not be (in electrical circuits par example).

- Firstly, we recommend degreasing all of your parts using microfiber gloves, water and washing-up liquid so as not to leave scratches on your bodywork. Also repeat this operation on your wheels.

- If your two wheels is equipped with a chain kit, apply degreaser on this one in order to degrease it properly and to ensure a better functioning of your chain.

- Then, using a sponge or a cloth, clean your two wheels with soap and water (or dishwashing liquid), rubbing well so as not to leave any traces. Note: carry out this cleaning when your engine is cold to prevent certain parts from being damaged as a result of too sudden cooling.

- Once the parts have been cleaned, it is now time to rinse them. To do this, use a basin of water or a conventional water jet (not a high pressure jet) as well as a Shammy so as not to leave traces.

- Then, it only remains to make your vehicle shine! This step is not mandatory but allows for optimal rendering. To do this, use polish which will give a new and shiny appearance to your two wheel.

- Also remember to apply lubricant on all the elements that consume it (the chain, the cables, the crutch pins).
