New air filter box adaptable for karting, go-kart, competition, OK, OK Junior, KZ, KZ2...

The "NOX-2" air box has been designed for high performance and the maximum expression of technology to let the kart engine breathe.
It is equipped with a high-efficiency air filter and intake ducts, designed to optimize engine filling.
The front airbox inlet is appropriately sized and allows for optimum fresh air intake, which significantly increases performance.
Filtration of particles measuring more than 10µm (10 thousandths of a millimeter) was considered the best compromise between air passage and air purification.
The value of 10µm allows to filter the impurities produced par the front brakes, generally measuring between 15 and 30µm, notoriously very aggressive towards the internal parts of the engine.
The new lamellar barrier, located in the lower part of the filter, has been inserted to modify the air flow and reduce turbulence in the intake chamber.
The carburetor is positioned so that its air intake is inside the muffler body.
For use in rain, even heavy rain, a quick-release rain cover has been made, which nevertheless allows excellent performance.
