Caring for the exhaust of your 50cc EUROCKA

Whatever the material used, your exhaust line, exposed to bad weather and the heat generatedar combustion, will show signs of fatigue (loss of shine, rust spots). Bad weather is of course aggravating factors.

The steps for cleaning the exhaust of your 50cc EUROCKA motorcycle

The number one enemy of your pot is rust forming on the steel manifolds and sleeves. Regular cleaning is an effective way to combat the deterioration of your exhaust.

1) Bring a motorcycle cleaner, a sponge, a bucket or tub of hot water and a microfiber cloth.

2) Apply the cleaner to the entire exhaust line (manifold and silencer), leave to act for a few minutes.

3) Scrub using the sponge. Be sure to remove tar stains, insects and all other impurities.

4) Rinse with warm water, being careful not to get water inside the silencer. Use the muffler cap.

5) Dry everything by rubbing with the microfiber cloth.

6) Your exhaust is sparkling.

If during this maintenance, you notice the appearance of rust, you can remove this oxidation with iron straw (as thin as possible) or by applying a satin finish with a felt disc.

If the oxidation is more significant or the encrustation is deeper, the passage to the sander equipped with a polishing disc will allow an effective cleaning. If the oxidation is slight, use an antioxidant product type polish for metal parts.

For a silent stainless steel, titanium or aluminum exhaust, the polish enough to get a sparkling result. If your silencer is made of carbon, we advise you to use a cleaner such as Wash & Wax

6) Wrap the new rockwool around the midtraillette, tighten it so that you can put it in the silencer no problem.

7) Rivet with stainless steel rivets (if you have followed the 3 procedure). Screw all your silencer.

8) Wind it up silencer.
