What is the function of a clutch slave valve?

The receiver works in synergy with the clutch transmitter in order to transmit the pressure exerted on the clutch handle to the clutch kit.

When the driver operates the clutch handle, the transmitter transmits hydraulic fluid pressure to the clutch cylinder. The receiver return rod will then actuate the clutch fork which will push the clutch release bearing. This will then trigger the clutch, thus moving the pressure plate to be able to change gear.

When to change the clutch slave?

Le clutch slave is not a wearing part. However, the clutch sender-receiver system can experience leaks due to wear of its seals. Both the transmitter and the receiver must then be changed.

Signs of an HS clutch slaver include:

• A squeak when changing gears;

• A liquid leak from a joint or cup;

• A soft clutch handle or one that remains depressed;

• A difficult clutch that requires pressing the pedal several times to shift gears.

IMPORTANT:

If you notice that the seal located at the receiver is oozing, this can cause a loss of fluid and a loss of pressure reducing the performance of the clutch and which could even lead to a malfunction if the clutch is damaged. no longer contains liquid. It is therefore important to regularly check the condition of this part of the engine.

Don't forget to check the compatibility of the motorcycle model you own to avoid inconvenience when receiving the product. You need a hydraulic clutchar the clutch system par cable is different from this one.
