Under the aegis of the FFC and in partnership with Le Mans Sarthe Vélo, the Iconic Organization agency is organizing a cycling event open to all, in relay par Team on the Le Mans Circuit: The Koda 24 Hours of Cycling.
Following a new partnership for the 2022 and 2023 editions with the Czech car manufacturer Å koda, the 24 Shimano Hours of Cycling of Le Mans now becomes the 24 Hours of Cycling Å Koda. The principle of the Sarthoise race remains unchanged.

Since 2009, the 24 endurance race of the XNUMX Hours of Bike Å Koda has taken place at the end of August on the legendary Bugatti circuit of Le Mans. It is a relay cycling race and par Team of 2, 4, 6 or 8 riders, or even solo for the bravest.
The Bugatti Le Mans circuit is known worldwide for hosting the biggest endurance races. On an exceptional surface with a technical and hilly route and the famous “Dunlop Bosse” a complete turn of the clock to experience the magic of a night endurance race during which a great human and sporting adventure with nearly 4000 runners and around twenty nationalities.
Shimano, historic partner of the race, provides free maintenance and wheel loans around the clock.
The video surveillance system and integral lighting of the circuit guarantee maximum security.
The 24 Hours of Cycling, there are more than 15 spectators, 000 exhibitors and partners, 21 days of cycling with 2 events, the 2th largest cyclosportive event in France (participants)
More than 4 participants (100 participants at 3012:24 p.m. and 1500 participants “La Matinale Maine Libre”). The oldest participant is 84 years old, and the youngest is 18 years old. 15 nationalities are represented (numbers 2023).
On the occasion of the last edition, 639 teams, representing 3012 riders of 15 different nationalities took the start of this edition of the 24 Hours of Cycling . 78 brave, men and women solo, 54 duo teams, 177 teams of four, 261 teams of six and 69 teams of eight. Among the fifteen countries represented, we find Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium...
During these 24 hours of Le Mans Vélo, between 238 and 60 laps were recorded among the competitors. This shows that the event is open to all and accessible... The best lap time is 5!
The exceptional quality of the organization allows you to let yourself be carried away without stress and enjoy this tour of the clock on the circuit where so many champions have distinguished themselves. Conviviality and friendship are present at all levels: at the campsite, in the stands, and also in the peloton. Which allows us to approach this competition in the best conditions.
If you are new to the event, everything of course depends on your level, seasoned competitor, experienced cycle tourist, or novice. But also the number of riders in the team. For the majority, one-hour relays are the norm. You will always find a group of your level which will allow you to carry out your relays in good conditions. Safety is very important to you and others. Vigilance must be permanent, drive on the right, overtake on the left, no sudden braking, etc.
The fifteenth edition will take place on August 24th and 25th on the legendary endurance circuit.
The registrations will open on January 10th at 11:XNUMX p.m. and will be limited to 625 teams.
On August 24, 25, around 2024 cyclists are expected to take part in the event for the 3000th edition.
Experienced or amateur athletes, ultra cyclists, cycle tourists, triathletes, experience 24 hours of summermotions strong in the arena which saw the biggest names in motorsport compete: the Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans.
