Born in July 2012, Tim LOPES quickly developed a passion for motorbikes thanks to his father, Adrien LOPES, former super championcross. It first starts par the bike. So, at 2 years old, he already rides a bike without training wheels. From 3 years old, he starts riding a PW50 without stabilizers and trains on his father's land. It is from 6 years old, in 2019, that he begins the competition in Ufothe p.
En 2020, at the age of 7, Tim became the first Frenchman to participate in the KTM Junior Race à Anaheim 2 in the United States. Upon his return, he prepares for his season of Minivert 65cc before everything was stopped because of Covid. So it was in 2021 that Tim will make his debut on the Minivert where he will finish in 5th position.
En 2022, Tim begins theEurope 65 which he unfortunately had to interrupt following a fracture of his wrists. As a result, he cannot qualify for the final of the European Championship. He still finished season 2020 with 200 championship titles at the Mini O's (category 200cc 2000-2000 years Limited and the Mini Olympics 65cc 7-9 years Limited). That year he also won third place in the Minivert 65cc and signs with 737 Performance GasGas for season 2023.
2023 was a big year for Tim: he won the French championship title in Minivert as well as the title of vice-European champion. He also won 20 second places in the Mini O's and another second place during the Rookies Cup. He also participated in the Junior World Cup with the French team where he finished fifth (the French team finished third).
2024 marks his passage in the Minime 85cc category at Minivert. We will have the pleasure of seeing him again during the Minivert as well as Rookies Cup. He is also entering the Espoir category of the 24MX Tour.
To support Tim in practicing his sport, we provided him with equipment including plastic kits, chain kits as well as a complete pilot kit (clothing, environmental mat, arbor, etc.).
