TUTORIAL TO CHANGE YOUR BRAKE CALIPER

Ce tutorial aims at you help replace your brake caliper of your boxed 50cc. The example presented here concerns the change of a brake caliper from a Derbi Senda DRD X-Treme but the installation principle is similar on most other mécaboîtes. The piece presented is a brake caliper.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR BRAKE CALIPER

expansion tank: Remove the seat.

1) Remove the banjo screw. Beware of very corrosive brake fluid. Use a pair of gloves.

2) Remove the brake caliper (2 screws).

3) Install the new brake caliper.

4) Replace the banjo screw.

5) IMPORTANT: Bleed the brake circuit.

The brake system is a very important element for your safety. Do not neglect the purging of the system.
