TUTO CHANGING YOUR BRAKE DISC

Ce tutorial aims at you help replace your brake disc from your 50 to box. The example presented here concerns changing the brake disc of a Derbi Senda DRD X-Treme at the front wheel. The procedure remains the same for the other machines.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR BRAKE DISC

expansion tank: Remove the seat.

1) Loosen the wheel axle.

2) Loosen the fork slider screw.

3) Remove the wheel axle.

4) Remove the wheel.

5) Unscrew each screw.

6) Remove the brake disc.

7) Install the new brake disc.

8) Put the screws by applying thread lock type glue.

9) Tighten each screw.

11) Put the wheel back.

11) Replace the wheel axle.

11) Tighten the fork leg screw.

The disc brake is a system using a disc, fixed to the hub of the wheel, and platelets, coming to rub on each side of the disc. Platelets are held in a Sort out (fixed brake) or a clevis (sliding brake), fixed to the vehicle. One or more mechanisms push on the pads, usually one or more pistons under hydraulic pressure
