The Euro5 standard, what does it change?

With the concrete arrival of the standard Euro 5, 2021 was a very significant turning point in the 50 cc equivalent two-wheeler market. Many manufacturers have recently claimed that it would be too expensive to adapt their two-stroke engines to this new standard. There are several types of 50cc motorcycles, those using an 2T engine and those using an 4 time engine.

With equal displacement, 2T engines are more responsive and powerful engines than 4T engines, they will also be lighter and easier to maintain.
