Under-inflated tire on your 50cc VENT

Diagnostic :

- Shortens the life of the tread by increasing the wear of the outer edges (or shoulders) of the tire.
- Responsible for excessive heating, which reduces the longevity of the tire and can lead to a failure of the tire.
- Increases fuel consumption by improving rolling resistance.
- Reduces road holding by increasing the risk of slipping and loss of grip.
- Increases braking distances.

solution:

Inflate your tire to the recommended pressure (measured with a manometer). To find the recommended pressure, consult the owner's manual for your vehicle, or refer to the manufacturer's recommendations. The maximum allowable pressure is indicated on the sidewall of the tire and must never be exceeded. Motorcycle tire pressure is one of the simple things to check on your motorcycle. Checking this point regularly is very important to maintain optimal road holding. Ideally, motorcycle tire pressure should be checked every day, even weeks, and when cold and before long trips.

The tire on your 50cc VENT deflates slowly

In 95% of cases, the slow inflation of your tire is due to:
- Screw, nail or other bodyranger in the tread. The object is pushed in so well that only a small trickle of air escapes.
- Cracked or porous rim (oxidation) which has lost its waterproofness.
- Impurities stuck between the rim and the tyre.
- Leak at the level of the shell. It is the metal tip placed in the center of the valve which allows a tire to be deflated.
- Leak at the level of the valve which can be split, become porous or lose its cap.
Tires are subjected to many forces outside, such as temperature variations and weather.

1) Puncture sealant spray : temporary repair solution for tires with or without inner tube. No long journey with a tyre "Pumped up" to the Puncture sealant spray . Read the instructions carefully before use.

2) Tubeless ankle (or braid) kit for repairing motorcycle tires (not approved): only for tubeless tires.

3) Repair par inside:
Inserting a tire repair part, called a "mushroom" is the most reliable method but also the most expensive and requires professional equipment. You have to dismantle the tyre then proceed to various maneuvers: cleaning, brushing, drilling, vulcanization of the "fungus" and cutting of the excess.

4) The professional (Motorcycle dealer or assembler of tyre):
Having recourse to a professional remains the safest and most effective way. However, this one must offer you a repair par mushroom, and not a simple wick (repair par outside the same as you would).
