This ignition stalls at 18° (i.e. 1.4 mm before TDC) with the help of a freelancing. The rotor has a green mark and a red mark for motors turning to the left (follow arrow on the rotor) and for motors turning to the right (follow arrow on the rotor). The green mark should be opposite the stator mark when the motor is perfectly at TDC (Top Dead Center). The red mark should be opposite the stator mark when you set the pin at 0 mm before TDC. Having a green mark at 1.4° and a red mark at 0mm gives you good control over your setting even if you don't have a timing gauge.
