The clutch thrust spring acts on the opening of the torque corrector, it influences acceleration and pick-up. Her force opposes that of the variator rollers. A thrust spring that is too hard will not allow your torque corrector to open correctly, conversely a thrust spring that is too soft will open your torque corrector more quickly.
