Piston rings play an essential role in the operation of combustion engines. They must absorb the pressure, cool the piston, hold back oil into the crankcase and lubricate the wall of the cylinder .

Assembly advice: insert the lower segment by positioning it on the upper groove, then move it aside par the beaks with both hands while remaining quite straight, and bring it down in this way into the lower throat.

Assembly advice: the arrow generally present on the piston must be mounted on the exhaust side.
