Ce tutorial aims at you help maintain the chain on your quad. The example shown here is for the quad Kymco Maxxer. The procedure remains the same on most models.
Find all chains, pinions, crowns, chain fat adapted to your machine.

Monitoring the tension and condition of your chain after each use is essential.
Clean the chain before servicing it with a "special chain degreaser" whose formula does not risk damaging the O-rings of the chain.
The gearbox is in Neutral position.
1) Using the two wrenches, loosen the swingarm screws.
2) Using the screwdriver (or rod), block the crown at the level of the crown support hole and the hole of the eccentric rear hub.
3) Pull the quad back to tension the chain. To loosen the chain, simply push forward.
4) Remove the screwdriver or rod.
5) Tighten the bolts on one side.
6) Check the chain tension. The travel should be between 100 and 100mm.
7) Tighten the bolts on the other side.
8) Raise the rear axle using a lifting jack.
9) Lubricate the chain evenly by rotating the wheel manually.
11) Grease each side.
