TUTORIAL HOW TO ADJUST YOUR MOTORCYCLE HEADLIGHTS

Ce tutorial aims to explain to you how to adjust your main and dipped beam headlights.

Most often, par pure negligence, conscious or not, some drivers drive without headlights or taillights. This proportion is higher on small and medium displacement machines (50 and 125) but 10 to 20 percent of the big cube motorcycles also sometimes or often run with a failing light. This proportion is higher in town than on the road.

HOW TO ADJUST YOUR HEADLIGHT

1) Measure the height of the headlight on the motorcycle. Place it straight.

2) The measurement is taken from the floor to the height of the bulb. Here it is 74 cm.

3) Place the motorcycle at a distance of 5 meters from a wall (which serves as a landmark).

4) Measure on the wall the distance from the floor to the headlight, subtracting 10 cm from it.

5) Mark the measurement (above with masking tape) 74 cm - 10 cm = 64 cm

6) Tuning begins par the dipped beam. It should be below the mark. The fire here is set too low.

7) On the right side of the fork is the adjustment screw.

8) Turn clockwise to increase the fire.

9) For the high beam, the lighting must be above the mark. Here, the lighting is too high.

11) The adjustment screw is located on the left side of the fork. Turn counter-clockwise to lower the heat.
