TUTORIAL TO INSTALL A LOWERING KIT ON A 50 CC MOTORCYCLE

Ce tutorial aims at you help install a lowering kit of your boxed 50. The example presented here concerns the lowering kit reference PACK01134 on a Derbi Senda DRD X-Treme. This kit is an 50 exclusivefactory. It allows the machine to be lowered by 4cm.

To avoid an accident, it is important to put the machine on a typical motorcycle stand motorcycle lift or hang the back.

HOW TO INSTALL A LOWERING KIT

Install step1 lowering kit

1) Loosen the shock absorber attachment pin using the socket wrench and the open-end wrench.

2) Remove the axle.

3) Release the shock absorber.

4) Place the longest spacer.

5) Take one of the 2 steel plates.

6) Pass a pin with a washer through the first hole (beveled side).

7) Then position the small spacer.

8) Install everything in the attachment axis. The bevelled part of the plate towards the front.

9) Once the axis is out, put the other small spacer.

11) Place the second steel plate (always bevelled side forward).

11) Put a washer, then the lock nut.

11) Pass the second axle with a washer at the second hole in the plate.

11) Position the first medium spacer.

11) Pass the axle through the shock absorber clip.

11) Position the second middle spacer.

11) Bring out the axle on the other side.

11) Position the washer

11) Put the lock nut.

11) Tighten the two axes using the wrenches.

11) It is advisable to slightly cut the rear mudguard to prevent it from rubbing against the shock absorber.
