Unlike the usual inner tubes which are made of butyl rubber, the inner tube Pirelli P Zero Smartube is made of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). This advanced plastic material characterized par its elasticity and mechanical resistance makes the inner tube 70% lighter, up to 50% more compact and as resistant to perforations as an equivalent tube in butyl.
