This housing is designed for ball bearings with an outer diameter of 80 mm and an inner diameter of 40 mm or 50 mm.

The bearing shell is used mainly in karting to hold the rear axle bearings in place. It provides a strong and stable fixation of the bearings, thus allowing smooth rotation of the rear axle of the kart. Anodizing provides additional protection against corrosion and wear, which extends the life of the shell and bearings.

The 4-hole bearing shell typically attaches to the kart chassis at the rear to hold the rear axle bearings in place. The four holes ensure a strong and stable mounting, keeping the bearings properly aligned and allowing the rear axle to rotate freely.
The other holes are used to attach a chassis protection pad and a seat stiffener.
