Do not hesitate to change the elements whose wear would be too important: coating handles, brake levers ou clutch, pedal et gear selector... Some broken parts could make you think that your bike has been in an accident.
An informed buyer will not be satisfied only with the aesthetic aspect of your machine. Remember to check:

- Oil change: with the replacement of the oil filter (unless you have done it recently and you can justify it (maintenance book, invoices, etc.).

Remember to hide your numberplate with a cloth or with photo editing software.
The photos must be taken with a good digital camera, outdoors, under the sun, with a "seller" and rather neutral background: no garbage cans or waste disposal, not in front at home with the house number…

Your ad is the first contact with the future seller, so you must write it with care.
At the beginning of the advertisement, indicate the make, model, cubic capacity, year and mileage of your vehicle. Highlight its particularities and the list of accessories or optional equipment.
Indicate the condition, price, location of the vehicle and your email address. Also inform that only a payment par bank check will be accepted for the sale (dissuasive for crooks of all kinds).
Pay attention to the spelling of proper names, Susuki or Kawazaki are regularly found on advertisements.
There is no point in lying about the ad. In case of dispute, the buyer could turn against you for hidden defect, and this for two years.
First, check that your insurance contract covers the loan of the motorcycle to a third party and notify your insurer.
