This helmet is equipped with the system MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System / multidirectional impact protection system) designed to improve safety on a motorcycle but also on a bicycle. This is a technology that mimics cerebrospinal fluid to improve the protection of the brain during an impact. There are 3 main components in a MIPS equipped helmet: the inner foams, a low friction membrane and an elastomer attachment system in between. During an impact, the interior foams dissipate the force impact. Plus, the elastomeric ties stretch to allow the foams to move smoothly between the low-friction membrane and your head.
